project architect
Warren Weaver has designed spaces both locally and internationally since 2011. A Kentucky native, he took a circuitous path to Texas—spending several years working in China, followed by a brief sojourn in San Francisco, before ultimately settling in Austin, which he now calls home. Throughout his career, Warren’s work has garnered widespread recognition, including multiple Honor Awards from the Texas Society of Architects (TSA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), as well as national attention from Time magazine for his innovative design of House Zero.
Warren holds both a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the University of Kentucky. He’s had the opportunity to work with locally and internationally acclaimed practices such as Handel, Micheal Hsu Office of Architecture, and Lake Flato. His practice is informed by a broad range of interdisciplinary interests, including real estate development, cinematography, spirituality, art, and computer science. He advocates for a holistic approach to design, believing architecture has the capacity to cultivate environments that support connection, trust, and safety.
