STUDIO OPERATIONS LEAD

Katie entered the operations and administration profession over ten years ago, building her career across a wide range of industries — from health care  and accounting to construction and retail, spanning non-profits and for-profits, small businesses and corporations alike. Along the way, she found her focus in working with female-led small businesses, driven by a mission to support founders and small teams by taking care of the day-to-day operational details that allow them to stay focused on the creative, meaningful work they care most about.

At FIRMAH, Katie brings her organizational, communication, and project management skills to support the team behind the scenes, so they can direct their energy toward designing and building spaces that foster deep connectedness within the community.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from San Jose State University and is an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR), with approximately three years of HR experience. Outside of work, she enjoys reading physical books across all genres — especially historical fiction, personal development, and parenting — as well as spending time outdoors with her family learning how to garden.
